Have you ever noticed the "count-down" clocks that show how much time is remaining until the market close?...Is that needed?
Is reading a clock really so complicated that some need this? If so, should they be trading?

- The obvious question is "why"... I spend nearly my entire day either working on a blog that tracks the stock market for Schaeffer's Investment Research or writing columns for the homepage. I usually average 12 to 15 posts a day on that and the rest of my time is spent working on projects. With the overwhelming majority of my day already spent writing, the question is - why would I launch my own blog? The obvious answer would be that I love to write. That would be wrong. I do not consider myself a writer at heart and I have never thought it to be one of my strengths. Odd isn't it? It is however, what my job entails so I am doing it. While I do sometimes struggle to find points topics to discuss, another trend has emerged. One that necessitates this space. Since my blog is on our premium site, and people pay to have access, I need to keep a certain level of professionalism. I am left with a feeling that I am being constrained on what I can say. In order to alleviate this "limitation" I have created this space so I can post whatever I would like.
