The! Biggest! News! of! the! Day! - Not GDP or Pfizer Layoffs

Here are some of the contenders for today's biggest...news...of...the...day...

  • Details on the gross domestic product (GDP) report that showed the "economy grew at a much faster pace in the third quarter than originally estimated..."
  • Lay offs at Pfizer (PFE) that will reduce the U.S. sales force by 20 percent...
  • Optimism on gold as it is said there has been a "'stealth bull market' in gold for about five years"...
  • A ruling that the U.S. currency must be changed to accommodate the blind...
  • Some overall thoughts on the current economic/market situation from Todd Harrison...
  • Earnings from Tiffany & Co. (TIF) that exceeded expectations...
  • Some perspective on Ben Bernanke's comments...

While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest story is this - Owner: Man tried to hide guitar in pants...as the article says - "Lovell pointed toward the unnatural shapes in Conatser's jacket and pants and said, "You've got something.""...enough said...
