The! Biggest! News! of! the! Day! - Not the GDP Report, Toyota Overtaking Ford or Nike

Here are some of the contenders for today's biggest...news...of...the...day...

  • The GDP report that showed the economy grew at 2%, which was slightly lower than last month's estimate...
  • A rundown of what Standard & Poor's is expecting for the tech sector in the coming year...
  • A look into how online retailers are attracting shoppers...
  • Expectations that Toyota (TM) will overtake Ford Motor Company (F) and become the number two automaker...
  • Better-than-expected earnings from Nike (NKE)...

While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest story is this - 'Hibernating' man survives for 3 weeks...according to the article a man "survived in near-freezing weather without food and water for over three weeks by falling into a state similar to hibernation"...think about the implications of what this means...I now have a strategy for surviving meetings!!!...now I just need to perfect the cartoon trick of painting "eyes" on my eyelids so no one will know...
