A Chance to Do Some Work

A fairly boring day in the market yesterday...but those are some of the days I like best because it gives me a chance to do a little individual stock research without a dozen different alerts triggering on my screen because the VIX is spiking or the SPX is breaking a level or whatever...

Perhaps the most interesting stock that I looked at was Unites States Steel (X)...It is interesting because it is not the type of stock I usually find exciting enough to look at. But it has been strong yet there appears to be a large contingency betting against it. From a risk-to-reward perspective, that seems to open up the upside - especially with the stock sitting near its highest point in the last 12 years...
