The! Biggest! News! of! the! Day! - Not Earnings from AAPL, EBAY, KO, C, or PFE

Here are some of the contenders for today's biggest...news...of...the...day...

  • Details on Apple's (AAPL) upbeat earnings report...
  • Details on Citigroup's earnings report...
  • Details on Pfizer's (PFE) earnings report...
  • Details on eBay's (EBAY) earnings report...
  • Details on Coca-Cola's (KO) earnings report...
  • Details on McDonald's (MCD) earnings report...
  • Data that showed weekly jobless claims "fell to their lowest level in almost three months..."
  • Word that Wal-Mart (WMT) is expanding its generic prescription plan...
  • Waiting on OPEC...

While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest story (courtesy of my colleague Richard Sparks - a.k.a "Sparky") is that we are finally removing one of the biggest threats facing our children -Not it! Mass. elementary school bans tag...with the scourge of dodgeball (which is "exclusionary and dangerous") already removed tag was clearly a major threat as it involved "near collisions"...I am wondering if the investment of the future isn't in bubble wrap?
