The! Biggest! News! of! the! Day! - Not Dell Earnings or Google's Milestone

Here are some of the contenders for today's biggest...news...of...the...day...

• Better-than-expected earnings from Dell...
• The hoopla around Google pushing through 500...
• Word that IAC/InterActiveCorp (IACI) and Questar (STR) will be joining the S&P 500 (SPX)...
• A Thanksgiving blitz by Wal-Mart Stores (WMT) to slash food prices...

While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest story is this - Beverage firm offers pea-flavored soda...Jones Soda is known for outrageous soda flavors and the company's turkey and gravy soda makes it a good Thanksgiving story but that is not why I picked it...I decided on this story because of the sheer candor of the company's chief executive...it is said that "he can not stomach the drinks" and he is quoted as saying "Why people buy it is beyond me. I can't drink a bottle of this stuff...Fish taco was just nasty and we tried curried chicken. That was just wrong"...at least he is honest!
