The! Biggest! News! of! the! Day! - Not Marvell or Housing Burden

Here are some of the contenders for today's biggest...news...of...the...day...

  • A reduced outlook from Marvell Technology Group (MRVL) that has the stock poised to gap down more than 10 percent...(regular readers will note that warning signs on MRVL have been around since the stock broke this support - more on this later today...)
  • New Census Bureau data that shows the burden of housing costs is rising...
  • Mild optimism on biotech stocks as it is said "the biotech story might have a happy ending. 'The biotech sector might have been expensive [last year], but it's really cheap now'..."
  • Anticipation about General Motors (GM) board meeting...
  • Details on a court decision involving the dispute between Broadcom (BRCM) and Qualcomm (QCOM)...
  • This debate that delves into whether "rallying bonds, weaker housing, cooling inflation" is a "a recipe for recession blues..."

While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest story is this - Software finds missing 'a' in Armstrong's moon quote...apparently no one believed Armstrong's assertion that he said "one small step for a man"...anyone want to take a bet on when this becomes a "can you hear me now" commercial?
