The! Biggest! News! of! the! Day! - Not Dell Earnings Delay/SEC probe or CPI Data

Here are some of the contenders for today's biggest...news...of...the...day...

• The CPI report that showed tame inflation data and boosted stock futures...it is said the "figures provide hope that inflationary pressures are moderating, and could give the Federal Reserve room to cut interest rates if the economy slows too much over the next few quarters"...
• The announcement from Dell they have delayed their earnings release and that their "informal" SEC probe has now been elevated to a "formal" one...
• A warning from Applied Materials (AMAT) that earnings won't hit forecasts...
• A dividend boost from Intel (INTC)...
• Earnings from Sears Holdings Corp (SHLD)...

While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest story is this - Clever Bonobo again triggers fire alarm...according to the article the great ape "wanted to go outside but the staff was too busy to let her out, trust officials said. Panbanisha then apparently lost her temper and pulled the alarm" but fear not because the lead scientist "explained the danger of such mischief and Panbanisha promised not to do it again"...now if all this is sounding familiar it is because, as the title alludes to, this is not first time it has happened!!! I think it is obviously clear that the biggest story is this - Great Ape scolded for pulling fire alarm...the fact that the ape grabbed a pull handle on the wall is not that surprising, what is surprising is that the ape won't do it again because she was "scolded" and "she's been told not to do it again"...uhhh - if telling her not to do it again really works, don't we have bigger problems?

Yeah - I really hope the scientists at this research center aren't working on something vital to mankind...
