The! Biggest! News! of! the! Day! - Not Emergency OPEC Meeting, AMD Warning or Retail Sales
Here are some of the contenders for today's biggest...news...of...the...day...
- Word of an "emergency" OPEC meeting to try to stem the recent drop in oil...
- A warning from Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) that has the stock poised to potentially gap lower by six percent...
- New developments in Apple's (APPL) stock-option backdating controversy as "Investigators are now focusing on the grant to Mr. Jobs for 7.5 million options that were finalized in December 2001"...
- A report that showed retail sales increased 0.9 percent last month...
- Optimism on IBM as it is said the company is "viewed as the gold standard" and "you could say the same about the stock"...
- Some market comments from my colleague Todd Salamone...
- An upbeat assessment of eBay's (EBAY) purchase of StubHub.com...
While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest story is this - Pigs outnumber people in German state...if you haven't been following the blog this week - please pay attention to this - there is stealth uprising by the pigs...on Monday we saw that a farmer attacked...yesterday we found out that a house burned down...now we find out that they are amassing swine "troops" in Germany!!!!
The government has yet to acknowledge this war but the news clearly shows trouble is brewing...be prepared...
