The! Biggest! News! of! the! Day! - Gasoline Must Fall

Here are some of the contenders for today's biggest...news...of...the...day...

• The GDP report that showed the economy was stronger than initially reported but not as strong as expected...
• Word that Google's (GOOG) CEO Eric Schmidt has been named to Apple Computer's (AAPL) board...
• AT&T's problem with hackers stealing personal customer data and credit card information...

While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest story is this story that quotes an analyst who says this about gasoline prices...

"The only place they have to go is down...We'll be closer to $2 than $3 come Thanksgiving..."

I heard about this article on the radio and the news anchor said something along the lines that it must be true because it is a large newspaper so the analyst must know what he is talking about...

I guess it must be true...
