The! Biggest! News! of! the! Day! - Not Apple's Regulatory Filing or the Shrinking Stock Market

Here are some of the contenders for today's biggest...news...of...the...day...

  • Yet another development in the Apple Computer (AAPL) options saga...a regulatory filing says Steve Jobs was aware of the grant dates but did not financially benefit...
  • Concessions from AT&T (T) designed to win approval for acquisition of BellSouth...
  • An interesting report that discusses how the overall size of the stock market has shrunk due to leveraged buyouts and share repurchases...
  • A delay in the FOMC meeting minutes until Wednesday...

While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest story is this - Head-banging snakes may predict quakes...according to the article, "China has come up with an earthquake prediction system which relies on the behavior of snakes "...wasn't there a Happy Days episode that was similar to that?
