The! Biggest! News! of! the! Day! - Not Icahn's Motorola Push or Earnings from PG and 3M

Here are some of the contenders for today's biggest...news...of...the...day...

  • Earnings from Procter & Gamble (PG)...the consumer products firm matched estimates and raised its outlook...
  • Earnings from 3M...the stock appears to be showing a mildly negative reaction to the release...
  • Word that Carl Icahn is seeking a seat on Motorola's (MOT) board of directors...
  • More Vista fervor as Microsoft (MSFT) co-founder Bill Gates explains why you need to upgrade...or else...
  • A look into YouTube's - owned by Google (GOOG) - revenue sharing plan...

While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest story is this - Mysterious ice chunk smashes Florida car...according to the article, a witness "was changing a tire when an 18-inch chunk of ice plummeted from the sky with a piercing whistle, then a metallic crunch"...some believe that the frozen missile was from an airplane wing as "The ice did not have a blue tint that would indicate it came from a plane's lavatory"...

What is going on out there? Earlier this month we saw that "It's not all that uncommon to have rocks rain down from heaven" and now I need to worry about giant ice chunks? And if that wasn't bad enough I should also check to see if they are "blue"???
