The! Biggest! News! of! the! Day! - Not Market Selloff or Home Depot (HD) Warning
Here are some of the contenders for today's biggest...news...of...the...day...
- Perspective from the New York Times on the market drop...
- Perspective from BusinessWeek on the market drop...
- Perspective from the Associated Press on the market drop...
- Optimism on big-cap stocks...
- An earnings warning from Home Depot (HD)...
While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest story is this - Would you vote for someone with a face like yours?...according to the article "Finnish voters searching for trustworthy politicians to elect in March polls can now use an Internet Web site to summon up photographs of candidates who resemble themselves"...this is based on "studies suggesting people are more likely to trust those with similar features to their own"...
I don't care what the "studies" say as I have irrefutable proof of the flaw based on the picture below that we discussed earlier this month -

Voting for someone who looks like me? I don't even want to talk to someone who looks like that!
