The! Biggest! News! of! the! Day! - Not Earnings from Oracle, Adobe, FedEx or Morgan Stanley

Here are some of the contenders for today's biggest...news...of...the...day...

  • A strong earnings report from Oracle (ORCL)...the shares are indicated moderately higher in pre-open action...
  • Earnings from Adobe Systems (ADBE)...the shares are indicated moderately higher in pre-open action...
  • Earnings from FedEx (FDX)...the shares are indicated moderately lower in pre-open action...
  • Earnings from Morgan Stanley (MS)...the shares are indicated slightly higher in pre-open action...
  • A new pay-per-click strategy from Google (GOOG) which is said to be "something of an answered prayer" for marketers...
  • A survey from Merrill Lynch that showed "global fund managers showed a rise in cash holdings and slight cutback in equities. But it also showed that a majority of fund managers believe global stocks to be fair value and bonds overpriced"...
  • Word that New Century Financial (NEW) has been "cut off by Fannie Mae"...

While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest story is without a doubt - Jim Cramer's Guide to Market Manipulation...as Mr. Cramer says - "It's a fun game"...
