The! Biggest! News! of! the! Day! - Not GDP Report, Intel's New Chip, or Bernanke's Comments

Here are some of the contenders for today's biggest...news...of...the...day...

  • The fourth-quarter GDP report...
  • A new chip design from Intel (INTC) that includes a feature currently used by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD)...
  • Downbeat comments on housing stocks as it is suggested there is more pain to come...
  • A discussion about Iran's impact on the oil market...
  • A recap of the Ben Bernanke's testimony to the Congressional Joint Economic Committee....
  • Some comments on networking stocks from Standard & Poor's...
  • An argument that Apple (AAPL) "should pull the plug on the iPhone"...

While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest story is this - Cheddarvision TV not to be sniffed at...regular readers may remember this website from last month when we saw that nearly 49,000 people [had] clicked on to www.cheddarvision.tv...now find that "more than half a million viewers...have tuned in to watch a mouth-watering round of cheddar cheese slowly mature at a farmhouse in Somerset"...

I once again am left dumbfounded by this whole thing. Who is watching this????
